South Yorkshire Coal Queen is a brand new pageant in South Yorkshire for ages 12+

If you are interested in applying please email with; your name, age, local area, 3 photos of yourself and a paragraph about you.

If successful you will receive a finalist information pack.

Once your place is confirmed a £75 sponsorship fee is required which can be paid for through friends and family or a local business (or 2).

Once the sponsorship fee is received you will be sent your finalist sash.

The 2022 pageant will be held at the Holiday Inn,  Doncaster, South Yorkshire on Saturday 8th October 2022.

NO experience required! This is a fun and friendly pageant, we welcome beginners and total newbies.

This is an inclusive pageant aiming for women of different ages, sizes and lifestyles to support each other as a community. 

 

This competition is all about promoting natural beauty and fundraising for Zoes Place Childrens Hospice.

 

The name South Yorkshire Coal Queen is from linking the past to the present. The local heritage of South Yorkshire towns, remembering coal mining throughout the region where the beautiful female relations of the workers were elected the local Coal Queen and competed nationally, this was run by the national coal board up until 1996.
